Abstract

Women’s political participation is an important area of discussion and research among social scientists. Efforts have been made by the researcher to find out various factors regarding this. Existing literature also pointed out the same. The current study is an attempt to find out the role of Information Communication Technology and Civic Knowledge to determine the Political Participation among women. The current study used quantitative research technique and explanatory research design find out and meet the objectives of the study. a sample of 384 was selected and standardized tool were used to measure the independent and dependent variables of the study. the researcher applied regression analysis and found a positive and signification relationship between ICT, Civic Knowledge and political participation. however, role ICT was more than that of Civic Knowledge. The study also found that urban area women have higher political participation as compared to the rural area women.
