Abstract

Language enables individuals to express their thoughts and emotions, and it serves as a fundamental medium of communication for social integration. Every society possesses its own distinct language, which individuals begin acquiring from birth; therefore, learning a language is essential for self-expression. Promoting language development requires both formal and informal approaches. Schools, as formal institutions, provide multilingual classrooms where language learning fosters mutual connection, deepens understanding, and facilitates the exchange of discoveries and traditions. It enhances students’ maturity. Students learn a language systematically under the guidance of proficient teachers. Teachers' proficiency in the language helps students develop language skills, and teachers are role models for students' language skill development. Teaching methods and approaches serve as motivational tools for students. Language skills are based on four main pillars: L for listening, S for speaking, R for reading, and W for writing. The Sanskrit language is the primary root of refined language abilities. Language laboratories are modern, practical tools for language skill development. Four pillars are essential for language skills, including memorizing Sanskrit sutras, practicing Sanskrit shlokas, and achieving correct pronunciation and fluency of speech. A 10-point scale is used to evaluate each dimension.
