Abstract

This paper looks at the current state of training infrastructure and talent management in Jabalpur’s defense industries relating to the “Make in India” programmed. It showcases the importance of creativity and partnership in the management of the workforce and measuring the gap of competencies in the new innovations. Additionally, the paper discusses the application of sustainable attributes in defense training, a study which explores how defense related organizations can balance the development of workforce while putting into consideration issues of sustainability and environment. This paper applies a mixed-method research strategy to determine the opportunities and suggest improvements to the IDM region’s defense manufacturing capacities.
